Nutramon Novo (Low Carbon)
To feed 9.7 billion people by 2050 and simultaneously reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 45% by 2030, innovations in agricultural practices are essential. Nitrogen fertilisers significantly contribute to greenhouse gas emissions, but switching to lower-carbon fertilisers, such as Nutramon and Dynamon Novo, can substantially reduce the environmental impact of agricultural production. These products are made using biogas, a sustainable energy source derived from biogenic waste and residues. By using biomethane instead of natural gas in their production process, the CO2 intensity can be reduced by at least 50%. Nutramon and Dynamon Novo thus contribute to a more sustainable food system without compromising the quality of the fertilisers while helping farmers reduce the carbon footprint of their crop production.
