Kelly Hewson-Fisher
Kelly was brought up on family farms and after graduating from Harper Adams with a BSc (1st Hons) in Agri-Food Marketing and Business Studies, Kelly joined ADAS as an Agricultural business Consultant. After 12 years Kelly moved to Anglian Water as a Catchment Advisor where she built a strong network based on trust and credibility allowing the agriculture sector and water company to work together with a solution-based driver. Kelly joined the NFU in 2022 as its National Water Resource Specialist leading on the NFU policy development, representation and member guidance on water resource issues. Kelly joined Savills in 2023 as Head of Rural & Projects Research. The team provides insight and thought leadership for the rural sector across the UK to enable clients to make informed business decisions as well as producing high-quality insight and commentary on rural property, agricultural policy and food and farming topics. Topical research has recently been published on soil and the role it can play in the journey to net zero, rural homes and the impact of legislation and controlled environment horticulture and its part in food security.
