New plant counting and sizing proprietary algorithm from Hummingbird Technologies

Hummingbird Technologies is continuing to develop new innovative technology and solutions to meet customer demand both here in the UK and also globally in the multiple regions we operate.

As well as providing a wide ranging portfolio for broad acre crops, including variable rate nitrogen, variable PGRs, desiccation and variable rate seeding plans, we are also continually working on trials and R&D projects to bring new innovative ideas to our customers.

We have most recently brought a plant counting and sizing to the fresh produce marketplace, using high resolution data and developing proprietary in house algorithms, which gives growers a greater insight and tangible data to inform yield and harvest forecasting.

This is an exciting new piece which has allowed us to diversify our product service offering and reach a wider global audience.
