Act now to improve yields with AminoA Biostimulants applications at T0, T1 and T2â¦
Growers can enjoy yield increases and efficacy improvements on crops with early interventions of natural bio-stimulant products, whilst reducing fungicide inputs, latest trials of the AminoA Biostimulants range of biotechnology products have shown.
Growers are facing increased demands following the wet conditions of 2019 and early 2020, with late drilled crops requiring strong root development to maintain tiller numbers and return good yields.
AminoA products not only help build resistance to stress, whether from waterlogging or other causes such as heat, cold and drought, but the range also improves crop quality. The efficacy AminoA products bring to other agrochemicals improves crop quality, whether in stress or otherwise healthy.
Independent trials show significant yield increases during challenging growing seasons, after applying AminoA FLO, a highly concentrated I-isomer amino acid complex, developed for the large-scale arable farmer.
NIAB trials in 2019 recorded grain yield increases on winter wheat of 0.73 T/ha using AminoA FLO, in a low fungicide situation. Eurofins trials showed 0.50 T/ha yield increase on winter wheat with an individual AminoA FLO application on 30th November, and 0.74 T/ha increase on an individual application on 26th March.
During the drought year of 2018, Eurofins trials showed winter wheat treated at T1 and T2 returning a yield increase of more 1.2 T/ha.
Importantly, the farmer does not have to increase input costs to improve efficacy. What is spent on AminoA applications is returned on reducing fungicide and agrochemical inputs, without compromising performance.
The wet weather and delayed drilling on many thousands of hectares has resulted in many crops really struggling, explains AminoA managing director Richard Phillips.
It is vital that these crops are encouraged to root strongly and develop adequate tiller numbers, he adds. We recommend applying AminoA FLO to crops from 3-4 leaves onwards to maintain tiller numbers, improve N uptake by increased rooting, and influence embryonic ear development.
Now used worldwide on all crops, from cereals to pineapples and bananas, through to grassland, it is recommended that AminoA FLO is included in all fungicidal tank mixes.*
* Do not mix with ALS inhibitor herbicides. In programmes that include this chemical group apply ALS inhibitor 5-7 days after AminoA FLO.
